by famous researchers, translation and interpretation of
the Qur’an were converted into digital forms. Presently,

Online Islamic Classes and Lectures. The development
of ICT has dramatically reformed teaching and learning
procedures in higher education. (Pulkkinen, 2007)
The use of ICT provides strong learning settings and
can alter the learning and teaching process so that students
are able to consider knowledge in an operative, self-
directed and useful way. (Volman and Van Eck, 2001)
Attending Islamic classes becomes easy through IT
even while one is at home. Virtual classes make it possible
to take part in classes globally. Currently, Muslims who
cannot afford to travel, especially women who have
restricted movements, can learn and train at home. They
can take part in online classes and lectures carried out by
top scholars all over the world. (Hosseini and Ahmadi
Ramchahi, 2014)

“Proclaim (or read) in the name of thy lord and
Cherisher, who created, created man out of mere clot
of congealed blood. Proclaim! And thy lord is most
bountiful- He who taught (the use of) the pen.
Taught man that which he knew not.” [Surah Al-
'Alaq:1-5)
